Moda I-Shine eye shadow

Queen
August 3, 2015

I am one of those people who claim that you can't have "too many eye shadows". Although 99% of my clothes is black, when it comes to eye shadow and nail polish I like to play with different shades. This time I decided to write about very affordable, yet very good eye shadows from the brand Moda. It is a Trkish cosmetics brand, which I have very reacently read about. The other bloggers praised them, so I decided to try them out. I got myself seven shades - 303, 305, 306, 317, 329, 333, 336. Eye shadows come in carboard box with silver details, inside which is a very firm plastic packaging containing the product.

The pigmentation is amazing, with just one sroke of finger over them you get a full shade, and they are full of micro shimmer - they actutually look like pressed pigments. The texture is softer, almost creamy to touch, but powdery when applied onto eyelid. Also, after few uses they shed all over the packaging. Their flaw is that they don't work well with makeup brushes, they shed more and the color is less intensive, so it is better that you use fingers or sponge applicator to avoid fallout and to get an excellent color intensity. The price is around 1€/1$, and for that money you will get 4 g of product. The swatches are done with a single stroke of finger with no base.

303 - Silver-gray, quite light shade.

306 - Light golden-yellowish shade.

336 - Gorgeous turquise green sade, it looks more blue in the pictures, but it is more green in real life.

329 - Olive green with golden highlight. It will sound a bit funny, but it reminds me of those green flies.

315 - Lovely warm, light purple shade, almost like dark fuchsia.

305 - Similar to 303, but this gray has purple undertone, which makes it quite interesting.

333 - Gorgeous dark blue, royal blue shade. Altough I am not a fan of blue shades, I fell in love with this one. It is beautiful! On swatch it doesn't look half as beautiful as live!

The biggest plus of these eye shadows is their pigmentation. They are a bit hard to capture in their full glory with camera , but it is still well visible what it's all about. They blend well and the durability is also quite good. The thing I've already mentioned as a flaw is that they don't work well with makeup brushes, but it's not so bad, also the ingredients aren't so good.

INGREDIENTS: PARAFINIUM, MICA, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, METHYL PARBEN, PROPYLPARBEN, IMIDIAZOLODINYLUREA, MAY CONTAIN PIGMENTS CI: 77891, 77491, 77492, 77007, 15850, 77288, 45410, 42090, 77289, 77742.

Despite that, eye shadows didn't cause any negative reactions. I am more than pleased with them and I use them quite often. For the price of 1€/1$ they can compete with much more expensive eye shadows.
